The Wissota Firefighters' Association

The Association

The Wissota Firefighters Association serves as a dedicated Association for Chippewa Fire District Station 3 in the Township of Lafayette, focused on supporting our local firefighters through fundraising efforts, providing essential gear, and organizing public awareness events. Our goal is to ensure our firefighters have the resources they need to stay safe and prepared while fostering strong community connections. By raising funds and promoting fire safety initiatives, we aim to enhance the well-being of both our firefighters and the residents they protect.

What We've Done

The Wissota Firefighters Association has been a driving force behind ensuring the firefighters at Chippewa Fire District Station 3 in the Town of Lafayette are equipped with the best tools and resources to keep our community safe. Over the past year, our dedicated members and supporters have raised funds for much-needed firefighting gear and equipment, allowing our local heroes to respond more effectively to emergencies.

One of our proudest achievements was securing funds for new protective gear such as structural firefighting boots, gloves, and other necessary tools. This gear is essential not only for firefighter safety, but also for their ability to perform at their best during every call. In addition, we’ve raised money to upgrade critical firefighting equipment, which plays a crucial role in enhancing the speed and efficiency of our Station’s response efforts.

Our fundraising efforts have been powered by a series of community events, including our annual Firehouse Pancake Breakfast, where families come together to enjoy a meal with their local firefighters, and the Lafayette Fall Festival, which draws people from across the region for a day of fun, education, and fire safety demonstrations.

Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, the Wissota Firefighters Association has been able to make a tangible impact on the safety and readiness of Station 3. We are committed to continuing these efforts, ensuring our firefighters have the tools they need to protect our township with confidence and care.
